When AI Meets Sensory Science: Tomorrow’s Talent at the Heart of Innovation
Our Presentation at the University of Caen Normandy
This year, Virginie HERBRETEAU and Sacha Pronost from ACTALIA SENSORIEL had the pleasure of giving a presentation at the University of Caen Normandy to students enrolled in the Algorithms and Intelligent Systems & Artificial Intelligence and Human Factors master's programs.
Our goal was to introduce them to the world of sensory and consumer studies, and above all to show them how their skills in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis can revolutionize this field.
How AI Is Transforming Sensory and Consumer Research
At Actalia Sensoriel, we already integrate innovative solutions and AI tools to refine our understanding of consumer expectations and behaviors.
From gesture recognition to predictive preference models, intelligent systems open up vast opportunities to better support innovation in the food and cosmetics industries.
A Strong Message for Future AI Experts
Our message to students is clear: AI is not just about code and algorithms. It must also be rooted in real-world applications, serving a deeper understanding of consumers and helping develop products that better meet their expectations.
A big thank-you to the University of Caen and to Gaël Dias for this inspiring exchange! We hope we have inspired these future experts to contribute to the advances that will shape the sensory studies of tomorrow.
